Owner’s Representative — Nickel Mining

Indonesia | Site-based, roster arrangement

About the Role

Represent the Principal on-site at a nickel mining project in Indonesia. You will coordinate the IUP holder and mining contractor, oversee project progress and production controls, and safeguard the Principal’s commercial interests through accurate reporting and effective site coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the Principal’s senior on-site representative and main point of contact.
Coordinate operations, site access, schedules, and production with the IUP holder and mining contractor.
Monitor ore grade, moisture, stockpiles, weighbridge records, and shipment reconciliation.
Ensure proper sampling, assay, documentation, and chain-of-custody processes.
Identify operational, commercial, and community risks and escalate critical issues to the Principal.
Lead coordination meetings and prepare daily and weekly project reports.
Supervise one Site Control Officer.

Requirements

Indonesian citizenship (WNI).
At least eight years of mining experience, including five years in nickel laterite operations.
At least two years in a senior site role working with IUP holders and mining contractors.
Strong knowledge of nickel mining operations, grade control, stockpiles, weighing, assay, and logistics.
POP certification.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Strong Excel and reporting skills.
Willingness to work on-site under a roster arrangement.

Preferred Qualifications

POM certification.
A bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
Experience in Morowali, North Morowali, Konawe, Kolaka, or Halmahera.
