Mergers & Acquisitions Manager
About the Role
JJ Prime Mining is seeking an experienced M&A manager to lead investment and acquisition transactions in Indonesia’s mining sector. You will manage opportunities from initial business development and evaluation through due diligence, valuation, negotiation, transaction structuring, and closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop investment and acquisition opportunities in the mining sector.
- Lead transaction evaluation, financial analysis, and valuation.
- Coordinate due diligence with internal teams and external advisers.
- Develop transaction structures and negotiate commercial terms.
- Review and negotiate Share Purchase Agreements and other transaction documents with legal advisers.
- Manage stakeholders and coordinate transaction execution through closing.
Requirements

7–10 years of relevant experience in investment companies, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or a related field.

A demonstrated track record of successfully leading at least two M&A transactions, each valued above USD 10 million.

Business development and/or transaction experience in coal and/or nickel mining.

Strong knowledge of M&A processes, corporate finance, valuation, and investment structures.

Experience reviewing and negotiating Share Purchase Agreements and related legal documents.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.

Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple internal and external parties.
